My Barry is a 12-year-old Beagle who came to me by a twist of fate when he was only 7 months old. His journey for 7 months took him to places that would make you cringe so how could I leave him there?

As a Beagle, Barry’s nose is never out of a job and his love of food is vast.

Job Description

• Have a nose for quality
• Be discerning about the ingredients used
• Possess strong knowledge of the sensual elements of food
• Able to check taste and texture of food samples to ensure they meet personal specifications
• Perform taste tests to determine if food has been prepared correctly
• Acknowledge that a healthy diet is complete and balanced
• Have consideration for the likes and dislikes of other four legged pals

It seemed to me that the best candidate for Head Taste Tester would be Barry. And so, it was.
